• Profile Data: Bio, profile photo, interests, and any information you add to your public profile.
• Location Data: GPS coordinates used for our Proof-of-Life (PoL) verification system. This data is processed locally and only verified movement hashes are submitted to the blockchain — not your exact coordinates.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the platform, including posts, messages, projects, and activity logs.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Helius Network platform
• To process Proof-of-Life verification and distribute HLS token rewards
• To personalise your experience and deliver relevant content
• To communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support
• To comply with legal obligations

3. End-to-End Encrypted Messaging

All private messages on the Helius Network platform are end-to-end encrypted. This means the content of your messages is encrypted on your device and can only be decrypted by the intended recipient. Helius Network does not have access to the content of your private communications.

4. Blockchain Data

When you participate in our Proof-of-Life rewards system, movement verification hashes and HLS token transactions are recorded on the Solana blockchain. This data is publicly visible on-chain by design. We never submit your precise GPS coordinates to the blockchain — only cryptographic proofs of movement.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers who assist us in operating the platform (under strict confidentiality agreements)
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect the safety of our users
• Other Helius ecosystem platforms when you explicitly authorise integration

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, two-factor authentication, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure — we encourage you to use our security features including Face ID, App Lock, and Trusted Devices.

9. Children's Privacy

Helius Network is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
